The Orton-Gillingham approach is a structured, multisensory method of teaching reading and spelling. It uses explicit, systematic instruction that breaks language down into smaller, manageable parts while engaging visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning. This approach is especially effective for children with dyslexia or other reading challenges, as it builds strong foundational skills step by step.
